SOFTWARE TOOLS

Several software tools have been developed to help implement ERP, including:

ERP Sample Planner [Excel]: a user-friendly Microsoft Excel spreadsheet tool that helps to determine how many random inspections to conduct for a statistically-valid result.

Performance Analyzer: a sophisticated Microsoft Access-based tool that enables users to store multiple rounds of data from facility inspections and self-certifications.  Users can analyze a single round of data or compare two rounds, and develop graphs and tables to illustrate various combinations and subsets.

Results Pro 2.1: a user-friendly Microsoft Excel spreadsheet tool that performs statistical analysis of the data obtained from random inspections, including confidence intervals and graphical representations.  Results Pro can compare one round of inspection data to a second round, including evaluations of statistical significance.  This free tool can be obtained by contacting the developer, Mike Crow of Crow Environmental.

ERP Results Analyzer [Excel]: a user-friendly Excel spreadsheet tool that manually calculates statistical results question-by-question.

Documentation of Formulas for Sample Planner and Results Analyzer [PDF]: a background reference providing the formulas used in the ERP Sample Planner and ERP Results Analyzer.
2007, 10 pp.

Guide for ERP Statistics [PDF]: a plain-language guide designed to help users, who do not have a background in statistics, understand the key statistical concepts that are important to implementing ERP.
